The future looks extremely bright for Kanakadatta Escoda. At the age of 23, many players are still trying to find their way in SGCBL Triple A.
Escoda has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Galadriel League Outstanding Hitter Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .328 this year, that's for sure," the right fielder said.
The Fangorn Ents star also put up a .438 on-base percentage this year, with 158 hits, 27 doubles, 9 triples, 32 home runs, 100 RBIs and 97 runs scored.
He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 24. Adley Turean of the Crickhollow Cads finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Sang-hyun Lorsson of the Nurn Demons finished third.
