 | Dagorlad Out of Playoff Race Sunday, September 27th , 2048 They put up a valiant effort, but the Dagorlad Disaster didn't have what it takes to make the Tolkien Baseball playoffs in 2048. The club was officially eliminated from postseason qualification today. "Sucks," said Disaster right fielder Goronyyv Glil-Garil. The Disaster have missed the playoffs 36 times in their 46 years as a Tolkien Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2043. In the last 10 seasons, the Disaster have missed the playoffs 6 times. Dagorlad last won the Return of the King Series in 2012. |   |
